When I was in first or second grade, I was the donkey, and not happy about it. The first three or four grades at the Catholic school where I went put on the nativty, and all I ever wanted to be was an angel. Instead, I was a donkey, a reader, and I forget what else.<br /><br />My kid got to be an angel for her play last year, and I cannot tell you how happy I was. My husband was mad that so many others had speaking parts. Me? I could not have cared less. She was living my dream. I wrote about this last year.<br /><br />Funny post.
